Edifice Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced BIM Manager to provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational efficiency for the studio's entire BIM function. The role will drive BIM strategy, governance, innovation, team performance, and client engagement while ensuring BIM delivers measurable competitive and operational value to the studio and its clients.

About the Role The BIM Manager will own and drive the studio's BIM strategy, develop long-term BIM roadmaps, establish studio-wide BIM standards and governance, lead a high-performing multidisciplinary BIM team, and champion digital innovation across the design consultancy.

The role will also involve maintaining client relationships at the BIM strategy level and ensuring BIM implementation aligns with Edifice objectives, project requirements, industry standards, and business value.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive the studio's BIM strategy, developing a long-term BIM roadmap aligned with Edifice objectives, project requirements, and industry standards.
- Author, publish, implement, and evolve the studio's BIM Standards Manual covering modelling standards, drawing standards, CDE protocols, naming conventions, data management, and ISO 19650 compliance frameworks.
- Develop an evolved Lean BIM workflow for architectural and interior design projects.
- Establish and maintain a studio-wide BIM governance structure defining roles, responsibilities, decision authorities, and quality gates for BIM deliverables.
- Develop, lead, and maintain a high-performing, multidisciplinary BIM team.
- Ensure BIM implementation across verticals, including identifying suitable projects, conducting awareness sessions on company BIM standards,



helping create BEPs, and providing handholding and supervision.
- Identify and formalize stage-wise deliverables from consultants and vendors and establish standards for the same.
- Identify and develop efficient, automation-based BIM coordination and documentation workflows for architectural and interior design.
- Define, develop, and maintain the studio's BIM technology ecosystem, including BIM software, hardware, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
- Drive innovation by identifying, piloting, and integrating emerging technologies such as AI-assisted design, generative design, reality capture, and immersive visualisation, aligned with business value.
- Author and review EIR-aligned BEPs for projects, ensuring they are suitable to project needs, commercially sound, technically rigorous, and client-approved.
- Lead client BIM strategy engagements, present capabilities, chair BIM steering meetings, manage BIM-related client expectations, and resolve strategic disputes while aligning with Edifice's interests.
- Manage BIM team operations, including studio support strategy, software management, licensing, training, and staffing.
- Support business development with BIM expertise for bids, pre-qualification questionnaires, and client capability presentations.
- Establish KRAs for BIM delivery and monitor, measure, and report BIM performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Foster continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and digital innovation across the design consultancy.

Role Description





- Lead monthly BIM team meetings, review portfolio health, address strategic issues, and communicate priorities.
- Chair monthly BIM standards review sessions with BIM Application Specialists and Senior BIM Coordinators.
- Meet Project Heads monthly to align BIM resourcing with the project pipeline.
- Review and approve BEPs for all new significant project engagements.
- Participate in client kick-off meetings, client BIM workshops, and senior design reviews.
- Maintain familiarity with AI-assisted design tools, generative design platforms, and computational design environments.
- Demonstrate project management proficiency in resource planning, fee management, and schedule management.

What We're Looking For

- Extensive and demonstrable BIM delivery leadership experience, with a strong track record of successful digital delivery outcomes across complex, large-scale projects.
- Deep expertise in Autodesk Revit and the wider AEC ecosystem, including advanced ACC / BIM 360 administration and CDE strategy.
- Comprehensive, expert-level knowledge of ISO 19650 and its practical application across complex portfolios.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage stakeholders from project team members to client boards and executive leadership.
- Solid people management skills, with the ability to build high-performing, collaborative, and innovative BIM teams.
- A genuine passion for digital innovation and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, including AI-assisted design.
