Role Overview

We are looking for a competent Billing Engineer to manage end-to-end billing functions for commercial and residential real estate projects. The role requires robust expertise in contractor/client billing, quantity verification, and cost control aligned with project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation, checking, and certification of RA (Running Account) bills for contractors/vendors
- Client billing based on project milestones, agreements, and work progress
- Quantity take-offs from drawings (RCC, finishing, MEP interface) and site measurements
- BOQ (Bill of Quantities) analysis, rate validation, and variation tracking
- Verification and certification of subcontractor bills in line with work executed at site
- Reconciliation of quantities, materials, and costs (client vs contractor)
- Monitoring extra items,



deviations, and change orders (variation orders)
- Coordination with Site, Planning, Contracts, Procurement, and Accounts teams
- Maintaining proper documentation for billing, approvals, and audit purposes
- Tracking project costs vs budget and highlighting discrepancies
- Assisting in final bill certification and project close-out

Key Requirements

- B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in billing for commercial and residential real estate projects
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, contracts, and billing processes
- Experience in high-rise / township / commercial building projects preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle, etc.) is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
