Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Billing Estimation Engineer role based in the Pune Division.

The Billing Estimation

Engineer will prepare and review BOQs, estimates, and cost sheets for civil and turnkey projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications and budgets. The role involves analyzing drawings and technical documents, coordinating with project and site teams, and updating estimates and billing based on actual progress. The individual will interact with vendors and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations, support negotiation on rates, and help optimize project costs. The role also includes maintaining detailed records of estimations and bills, supporting management reporting,



and contributing to continuous improvement of estimation processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and Project Estimation, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications for accurate quantity take-offs and costing.
- Solid foundation in Civil Engineering, including knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards relevant to turnkey and infrastructure projects.
- Effective Negotiation skills for working with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to secure competitive rates and favorable terms.
- Research skills to benchmark costs, track market price trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities and best practices in estimation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; diploma candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and estimation/billing software; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams on-site in Pune Division and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Prior experience in turnkey, industrial, or commercial construction projects is preferred.
