Role Description The Billing Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and updating project quantity measurements, cost estimates, and client bills for ongoing civil and concrete works. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with site engineers, reviewing drawings and work orders, reconciling quantities with actual site execution, and ensuring accurate documentation of materials and labor. The role also involves monitoring project progress against billing schedules, supporting internal audits, and resolving billing-related queries with clients and vendors.
This is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai,
requiring regular presence at office and project locations and close collaboration with cross-functional project teams.
Qualifications
- Civil engineering knowledge, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design competencies.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction or infrastructure projects, preferably involving concrete structures.
- Skills in Planning and project coordination, including tracking progress and aligning work with billing milestones.
- Understanding of Stormwater Management or related infrastructure systems, beneficial for projects involving drainage or urban civil works.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using quantity estimation tools or software.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain clear billing and project records.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with site teams, contractors, and clients.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and basic project management or ERP tools is an advantage.
