Act as the departments technical leader in pioneering current business domains through data analytics and AI, and lead the definition of business requirements and analytical technologies to address societal and business challenges.

Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging technologies to provide technical guidance and identify strategic directions for creating new value and business opportunities.

In addition, serve as a Hitachi Data Science Evangelist by promoting technical capabilities both internally and externally. Maintain visibility into ongoing projects and technology trends, define mid-to-long-term technology strategies, plan talent acquisition and optimal resource allocation, establish capability development programs, and provide overall technical leadership and management across the department.

Lead the definition of business requirements and analytics technologies to address social and business challenges

Drive the creation of new business opportunities through Data Science, AI, and advanced analytics

Provide technical leadership by evaluating industry trends, competitive technologies, and emerging AI innovations

Support project teams with technical guidance, architecture reviews,



and solution strategy

Define mid- and long-term technology roadmaps and capability development strategies

Monitor project portfolios and technology trends to identify areas for technical investment and growth

Role & responsibilities

AI / ML Frameworks

TensorFlow (Preferred), PyTorch , JAX

Computer Vision / Image Processing Libraries / Data Processing

OpenCV, Pillow, Pandas, numpy, MySQL or equivalent libraries

Hands-on experience implementing solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and/or AI Agents

Experience with Pydantic AI (Preferred), LangChain, LlamaIndex, Dify, AutoGPT, or equivalent LLM/Agent frameworks and APIs

Ability to evaluate technical options and select appropriate algorithms, models, and architectures

Semiconductor domain knowledge is not mandatory

Experience authoring technical papers and/or filing patent applications
