Role Description This full-time, in office role for BAMS Ayurvedic Doctors is based in Hyderabad at Travancore Ayurveda Detox Retreat Official. The role involves conducting detailed patient consultations, documenting medical histories, performing Ayurvedic assessments, and prescribing individualized treatment plans, including Panchakarma therapies and internal medications. Doctors will supervise and coordinate treatments with therapists, monitor patient progress, and adjust protocols as needed to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to NABH and clinic protocols,



providing patient education on lifestyle, diet, and preventive care, and participating in case discussions and continuous clinical improvement. The role also requires close collaboration with the clinic team to support smooth operations and a high standard of patient experience.

Qualifications

- BAMS degree from a recognized university, with valid registration from the appropriate Ayurvedic medical council.
- Strong knowledge of classical Ayurveda, including Panchakarma procedures, Ayurvedic pharmacology, Nidan (diagnosis), and Chikitsa (treatment).
- Hands-on experience in OPD/IPD patient management, clinical examination, treatment planning, and follow-up in an Ayurvedic or integrative healthcare setting.
- Ability to supervise and guide Panchakarma therapists, ensure protocol adherence, and manage treatment-related safety and quality.
- Clear and empathetic communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to explain treatment plans and lifestyle guidance to patients.
- Comfort with electronic medical records, documentation standards, and compliance with NABH or similar accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, and maintaining professional decorum in a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work clinic hours, including weekends or extended hours as required, and readiness to participate in health camps or outreach programs.
