Job Title: Backend Node.js Developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications and APIs. You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to build reliable backend services and deliver high-quality features.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications and services using Node.js and Express.js
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
- Design and manage databases using MongoDB; write effective queries and data operations
- Implement server-side business logic and application functionality
- Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Integrate third-party APIs, services, and external systems
- Debug, test, and optimize backend applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver features
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development standards
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production-related problems

Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
- Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)




- Strong experience with MongoDB and database operations
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Understanding of server-side architecture and business logic
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Experience with API integration and third-party services
- Experience with Git and version control
- Familiarity with npm/yarn and package management
- Understanding of error handling, validation, and secure backend development
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively

Preferred / Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Mongoose and MongoDB schema design
- Understanding of performance optimization, caching, and scalable backend architecture
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, cloud deployment, or DevOps workflows
- Familiarity with unit/integration testing and good development practices
- Understanding of application security and API security best practices
- Experience with WebSockets / real-time applications is a plus
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar tools to improve coding efficiency, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
