About the Role
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Tester with robust experience in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions while ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze the testing requirements of the project
- Design and implement effective test automation strategies
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java and Selenium
- Create and maintain BDD scenarios and frameworks using Cucumber
- Review test cases and ensure adequate test coverage
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams
- Prepare and review test reports and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones
- Communicate testing progress and issues to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in software testing and automation
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Core Java and Selenium
- Strong experience with Cucumber and BDD
- Good understanding of automation testing concepts
- Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks
Preferred Skills
- Experience with JUnit and Mockito
- Knowledge of REST Assured
- Experience with JMeter
- Familiarity with Protractor
- Strong knowledge of BDD frameworks
