We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Playwright And API Automation and a good understanding of automation framework design, web application testing, and Agile methodologies.

The ideal candidate should also be familiar with modern AI-assisted automation and Quality Engineering practices, with the ability to leverage AI technologies to improve testing efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation solutions using Playwright.
- Design and implement robust API automation for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Create reusable automation components, page objects, utilities, and test workflows.
- Analyze application requirements and develop effective test automation strategies.
- Validate API request/response payloads, status codes, headers, authentication, and business validations.
- Handle dynamic web elements using Playwright locators, XPath, CSS selectors, and other appropriate approaches.
- Investigate automation failures, identify root causes, and resolve framework or test issues.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Participate in Git-based development, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners,



and QA teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, execution, and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, reliability, execution time, and maintainability.
- Contribute to the adoption of AI-driven testing and automation practices within the QA process.
- Stay updated with emerging automation, AI, and Quality Engineering technologies.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in API Automation – Mandatory
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing/QA Automation.
- Good understanding of web application testing and automation concepts.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with automation framework design and development.
- Good knowledge of web technologies, DOM structure, locators, XPath, and CSS selectors.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or similar version control systems.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.





AI & Modern Automation The candidate should have a strong understanding of AI-assisted test automation and the integration of AI capabilities into automation workflows/frameworks. Exposure to areas such as the following is preferred:

- Generative AI for test case and automation script generation.
- AI-assisted test analysis and failure investigation.
- AI-based test maintenance and intelligent locator assistance.
- AI agents or LLM-based automation workflows.
- Tools such as GitHub Copilot, MCP, Playwright Test Agents, Claude or similar technologies.
- Using AI to improve test coverage, automation productivity, debugging, reporting, and overall QA efficiency.

Good to Have

- TypeScript
- BDD / Cucumber
- JavaScript or Java.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- API testing and automation experience.
- Experience with parallel test execution and CI/CD automation.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium Grid, or cloud-based testing platforms.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Experience implementing AI-driven Quality Engineering solutions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 3–5 years of relevant QA Automation experience.
- Strong practical experience with Playwright.
- Positive understanding of automation architecture and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interest in emerging AI and Quality Engineering technologies.
- Willingness to work from the Hyderabad office.
