Role Description The Automation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The person in this role will design, implement, and maintain automation systems, ensuring reliable process control across manufacturing or industrial environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and programming automation equipment, integrating robotics and control systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and optimizing system performance.

The Automation

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals, conduct root-cause analysis for equipment failures, and prepare documentation for system configurations and standard operating procedures.



The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

B.E.ELECTRONICS

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Robotics for designing, integrating, and maintaining automated systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Process Control expertise to configure, monitor, and optimize industrial control systems.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge to work with wiring, instrumentation, power distribution, and control panels.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics) or a related field.
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, industrial networks, and field devices is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Solid analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work safely in an on-site industrial environment.

Experience: 8-10 years

Schneider/Siemens/Rockwell PLC with Motion controllers

Experience in Pharma machine manufacturing is added advantage
