Key Responsibilities Lead the PE Automation project as PMO, establishing governance frameworks, timelines, milestones, and risk management protocols Document all existing PE Controller workflows (60% process-related work) to create comprehensive process maps and identify standardization opportunities Conduct detailed business requirements gathering across all PE workstreams including journal posting, bonus accruals, deferrals, headcount reporting, allocations, and forecasting 2 Analyze current data architecture spanning HR Comp Data, bonus data, headcount, payroll, and deferral systems to define integration requirements Design strategic automation solutions, evaluating in-house development versus third-party tools, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders Identify inefficient processes and implement automated workflows to reduce manual effort and error rates in Excel-based operations Collaborate with IT, HR, and Finance stakeholders to ensure alignment on system requirements, data flows, and implementation approach Create bandwidth within the PE Controller team through process optimization and interim automation wins Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI projections for proposed automation solutions Manage vendor selection processes if third-party solutions are pursued, including RFP development, evaluation, and contract negotiation Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure automation impact on accuracy, efficiency,



and analytical capability Lead change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes across the PE Controller team 1.6 Immediate Priorities Organize and document all existing PE processes to improve transparency and identify standardization opportunities Create bandwidth within the team to systematically identify inefficient processes and implement quick win automated workflows Clarify comprehensive business requirements for the strategic automation approach Establish project governance structure, stakeholder communication cadence, and reporting mechanisms 1.7 Strategic Deliverables Complete review of all work processes and business requirements to inform solution design Propose strategic automation solutions with detailed system options (in-house development OR third party tool) Facilitate decision-making process on final solution approach with senior Finance leadership Develop detailed implementation roadmap with phased rollout plan Lead end-to-end implementation of the approved strategic solution, coordinating with IT, vendors (if applicable), and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of the automated PE platform within agreed timelines and budget constraints Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and change management activities, including training development, stakeholder communication, and transition planning to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes across the global PE Controller team Establish governance framework and KPIs for the new platform, including defining control procedures, monitoring mechanisms,



and performance metrics to measure automation perks and ensure ongoing operational excellence post-implementation 1.8 Mind Set - Mandatory Skills 12-15+ years of experience in finance operations, business analysis, or project management within financial services Proven track record leading large-scale process automation or system implementation projects Deep expertise in business requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow documentation methodologies 3 Strong understanding of personnel expenses, compensation structures, and financial control processes Experience with data architecture, system integration, and requirements for automated financial platforms Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) or demonstrable PMO leadership experience Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling;

experience with process automation tools Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence across Finance, IT, HR, and senior leadership Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for documentation and presentations 1.9 Mind Set - Desired Skills Experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and integration platforms Knowledge of RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) or low-code platforms Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative project delivery Understanding of regulatory requirements for financial controls and audit trails Experience in vendor management and third-party solution evaluation Background in change management and organizational transformation SQL or data querying skills for requirements validation Previous experience in investment banking or securities firm environment
