Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Australian Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for Australia. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Australian payroll processing, payroll compliance, taxation, superannuation, and employee payroll support.

Key Responsibilities

- Process end-to-end Australian payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
- Ensure compliance with Australian payroll regulations, taxation requirements, awards, and statutory obligations.
- Manage payroll inputs including new hires, exits, salary revisions, leave, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Handle Superannuation, PAYG tax, STP (Single Touch Payroll), and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors for payroll processing and reconciliations.
- Resolve employee payroll queries and provide timely support.
- Prepare payroll reports, audits, and statutory filings.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.




- Support payroll process improvements and compliance initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in Australian payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, Superannuation, and Fair Work requirements.
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, SAP, Workday, Oracle, Chris21, Micropay, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in a shared services or global payroll environment.
- Exposure to payroll audits and compliance reviews.
- Knowledge of payroll integration and HRIS systems.
