Competition Guru Coaching Centre, Chandigarh is looking for an experienced and academically strong Assistant Professor / Computer Science Faculty who can teach students preparing for UGC NET Computer Science & Applications.

The ideal candidate should have an excellent command of Computer Science concepts and should be capable of teaching UGC NET-level theory, numerical and problem-solving topics in a clear and exam-oriented manner.

Candidates having experience teaching UGC NET, JRF, Assistant Professor, university-level Computer Science, GATE Computer Science or other competitive examinations will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities The selected faculty member will be responsible for:

- Teaching UGC NET Computer Science & Applications students.
- Conducting regular classroom lectures in Chandigarh.
- Covering the complete UGC NET Computer Science syllabus systematically.
- Explaining concepts from basic to advanced level.
- Teaching both theoretical and numerical/problem-solving topics.
- Solving previous-year UGC NET/JRF questions (PYQs) in class.
- Preparing topic-wise notes, PPTs and study material.
- Preparing practice questions, assignments and test series.
- Conducting weekly/topic-wise tests and mock examinations.
- Analysing student performance and identifying weak areas.
- Providing doubt-solving and academic mentoring to students.
- Keeping course content updated according to the latest UGC NET examination pattern and syllabus.
- Developing strategies to help students improve accuracy, speed and conceptual understanding.
- Recording or conducting online/live classes whenever required.
- Contributing to YouTube or academic video lectures when required.




- Guiding students regarding UGC NET, JRF, PhD and Assistant Professor career opportunities.

A candidate capable of teaching the complete UGC NET Computer Science syllabus will be strongly preferred.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should preferably have one of the following:

- MCA
- M.Sc. Computer Science
- M.Sc. Information Technology
- M.Tech Computer Science / IT
- B.Tech + M.Tech in Computer Science / IT
- PhD in Computer Science / related discipline

Preferred Qualifications UGC NET / JRF qualified candidates will be given robust preference.

Candidates who have

- Qualified UGC NET Computer Science
- Qualified JRF
- Qualified GATE Computer Science
- Completed or are pursuing a PhD

will have an added advantage.

Experience

- Previous teaching experience in Computer Science / UGC NET / GATE / university or competitive examination coaching is preferred.
- Assistant Professors currently teaching in colleges or universities may also apply.
- Experienced Computer Science lecturers and competitive-exam faculty are encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional candidates with excellent subject knowledge and teaching ability may also be considered.

- Excellent command over Computer Science fundamentals
- Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Ability to teach UGC NET-level questions
- Good classroom communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify difficult Computer Science concepts
- Strong command of English; Hindi communication ability will be an advantage
- Student mentoring and doubt-solving skills
- Ability to create academic notes and test questions




- Comfortable with digital teaching tools, PPTs and online classes
- Result-oriented teaching approach
