1. Position Overview

Sri Krishna Institute of Technology invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and allied branches. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring students, supporting academic activities, and contributing to the overall development of the department and institution.

1. Educational Qualification – Mandatory

- B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant/allied discipline.
- M.E./M.Tech. is mandatory in CSE or a relevant/allied specialization.
- Candidates should have First Class / equivalent grade in either B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech., subject to applicable regulatory norms.
- Candidates with relevant specializations such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering and other closely related CSE disciplines may be considered based on departmental requirements.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate classes effectively.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, tutorials and laboratory sessions.
- Deliver engaging and outcome-based teaching using appropriate teaching-learning methods.
- Mentor and guide students in academics, projects, internships and career development.
- Conduct and evaluate internal assessments, examinations, assignments and laboratory work.
- Guide student projects and support technical competitions,



hackathons and innovation activities.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic planning and departmental activities.
- Contribute to research, publications, patents, consultancy and sponsored projects.
- Participate in faculty development programmes, workshops, seminars and professional activities.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, course files and other institutional documentation.
- Support accreditation and quality initiatives such as NBA/NAAC, as applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
- Undertake any other academic or institutional responsibilities assigned by the management/HOD.

1. Preferred Skills

- Strong subject knowledge in one or more CSE/allied areas.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to use up-to-date teaching-learning technologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages, software tools and relevant technical platforms.
- Ability to mentor and motivate students.
- Willingness to participate in research, innovation and industry-academia activities.
