Role Description The Assistant Production Merchant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The role involves coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers, tracking production timelines, and supporting order processing from sampling to bulk production.

The Assistant Production

Merchant will assist in preparing and reviewing tech packs, monitoring quality standards, and ensuring that styles meet client specifications. Daily tasks include maintaining production documentation, updating internal systems with order status, and communicating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.



The role also includes supporting cost negotiations, helping with material sourcing, and contributing to continuous process improvements in the production workflow.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of apparel production processes, including sampling, bulk manufacturing, and quality checks.
- Basic knowledge of pattern making, 3D garment design, and tech pack requirements, or willingness to learn these areas.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets and production tracking tools; familiarity with design or PLM software is an advantage.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple orders, timelines, and documentation accurately.
- Interest in fashion sourcing and brand development; prior experience in fashion production or merchandising is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida and collaborate in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment.
