Role Description

This is a full time on-site role located in Chennai for an Assistant Pastry Chef. In this role, you will assist in preparing high-quality baked goods and desserts, support food preparation, and ensure all items meet quality and presentation standards.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and collaborating with the head chef and team members to innovate and enhance menu offerings.



Adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols is essential.

Qualifications

- Strong skills and hands-on experience in Baking, Cooking, and overall Culinary Skills.
- Expertise in Bakery and Food Preparation techniques, including familiarity with industry equipment and tools.
- Ability to follow recipes, maintain consistency in quality, and display creativity in pastry and dessert design.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen best practices.
- Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
- Prior experience in a professional bakery or restaurant environment is a plus.
- A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Baking, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Passion for desserts and an eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, creative environment.
