Role Description The Assistant Manager Solar PV Installation and Commissioning is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhattisgarh, India. This role oversees end-to-end installation and commissioning of solar PV systems, including site assessments, planning, resource coordination, and supervision of installation teams.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks, as well as conducting system testing, performance verification, and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders, resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning, and preparing reports on project progress and system performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust technical skills in solar PV system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting, with familiarity in electrical and mechanical aspects of solar projects.
- Candidates should possess project coordination and site management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess documentation and reporting skills, including preparation of test reports, commissioning records, and compliance-related documentation.
- Candidates should possess communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in solar PV installation and commissioning.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, such as IEC and local regulations, and proficiency in using basic electrical testing instruments and project management tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in varying environmental conditions, maintain high safety awareness, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive work culture.
