We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Expert / Assistant Manager – Airline Ticketing to join our team in Zirakpur.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in airline reservations, international ticketing, customer service, and escalation handling. The candidate will be responsible for managing complex ticketing requirements, assisting customers with travel-related queries, and supporting the team in delivering efficient and high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer queries related to airline reservations, ticketing, cancellations, refunds, reissues, and itinerary changes.
- Manage complex customer cases and resolve escalations professionally and within the defined turnaround time.
- Handle end-to-end airline reservation and ticketing processes with accuracy.
- Provide customers with suitable flight options based on availability, fare rules, and travel requirements.
- Handle ticket reissue, revalidation, cancellation, refund, and fare-related queries as per airline policies.
- Understand and apply fare rules, penalties, taxes, baggage allowances, and ticketing conditions.
- Manage PNR creation, ticket issuance, modifications, and other reservation-related activities.
- Coordinate with airlines, GDS support teams, suppliers, and internal departments for ticketing and customer-related issues.
- Handle schedule changes, flight disruptions, cancellations, and other airline-related cases.
- Take ownership of customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist and guide team members in handling complex ticketing and customer service cases.
- Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with company SOPs and airline policies.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare relevant reports related to ticketing and customer service operations.
- Support management in improving customer experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in Airline Ticketing, Travel Operations, or Travel Customer Service.




- Strong hands-on experience in international airline ticketing.
- Good knowledge of GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Strong understanding of reissue, refund, cancellation, revalidation, fare rules, and ticketing procedures.
- Experience in handling customer escalations and complex travel-related queries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer-handling abilities.
- Previous experience as a Senior Executive, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager will be preferred.
- Experience handling international sectors, particularly Australia/New Zealand, will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as support and guide a team.
