Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Assistant Café Manager to support the Café Manager in the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the outlet. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining service standards, handling customer concerns, monitoring inventory, and ensuring overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Café Manager in managing the daily operations of the outlet.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of service, kitchen, cleaning, and support staff.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the outlet as per operational requirements.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, performance, and shift schedules.
- Allocate duties and ensure adequate staff deployment during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, wastage, and proper storage of products.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order execution.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety standards, and operational guidelines.
- Assist in cash handling, billing, daily sales reconciliation, and closing procedures.




- Monitor outlet sales and support the Café Manager in achieving daily and monthly targets.
- Maintain proper records of stock, wastage, sales, staff-related matters, and operational issues.
- Coordinate with the management and other departments regarding maintenance, supplies, and operational requirements.
- Train and guide team members on service standards, SOPs, and customer handling.
- Ensure the outlet is well-maintained and presentable at all times.
- Support promotional activities and initiatives to improve sales and customer experience.
- Take charge of the outlet in the absence of the Café Manager.
- Perform any other operational responsibilities assigned by the management.

Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; hospitality/management qualification will be an advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in café, restaurant, QSR, hospitality, or food & beverage operations.
- Valuable knowledge of restaurant/café operations and customer service.
- Strong team-handling and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management, billing, and cash handling.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable working in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office/POS systems is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
