HeyEV is an EV leasing and lifecycle management company focused on commercial EVs and batteries. We help e-rickshaw drivers access EVs and lithium batteries through flexible financing and leasing solutions.

The Role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive e-rickshaw sales in the assigned market. The role will own customer acquisition, team productivity, collections and basic service coordination .

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Own monthly e-rickshaw sales targets for the city/territory.
- Generate and convert leads through field sales, referrals, dealers and local partnerships.
- Build relationships with e-rickshaw drivers, dealers, OEMs and local EV ecosystem players.
- Manage the complete sales funnel from lead generation to delivery.
- Track daily sales activity, conversions and team performance.

Team Management

- Lead and manage Sales Executives/Field Executives.
- Set daily and monthly targets and review performance.
- Train the team on product, sales process and customer handling.

Collections

- Ensure timely monthly payments from customers.
- Track overdue accounts and coordinate with the collection team for follow-up.




- Maintain strong portfolio quality alongside sales growth.

Service & Customer Experience

- Coordinate resolution of customer and vehicle/battery service issues.
- Ensure customers receive timely support after delivery.
- Monitor vehicle uptime and escalate recurring issues.

Candidate Profile
- 3–7 years of sales experience, preferably in EV, automotive, e-rickshaw, 2W/3W, NBFC or vehicle financing .
- Strong field sales and team-management experience.
- Target-driven and comfortable working on the ground.
- Valuable local market and customer relationships.
- Comfortable with collections and customer follow-ups.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
