We're Hiring: Area Business Manager

Location: Bangalore, Davanagere

Role Description: The Area Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru and Davanagere, responsible for driving sales growth and market development across an assigned territory. The role involves managing distributor and retailer relationships, executing sales plans, and achieving revenue and volume targets for Meditek India’s product portfolio.

The Area Business

Manager will regularly visit market locations, track competitor activities, and collect feedback to support product positioning and promotional strategies. Daily activities include planning and monitoring field activities, preparing sales reports and forecasts, coordinating with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, and conducting product training for channel partners. The role also requires maintaining high standards of customer service, resolving escalations, and representing the brand professionally in all external interactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Strong sales and business development skills, including territory management, channel management, and negotiation abilities.
- Experience in Pharma Background, personal care, or healthcare products,



with understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
- Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and use insights to drive performance improvement.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills for working with customers and internal teams.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Comfort with fieldwork, regular travel within the assigned area, and working on-site in Bengaluru.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently while aligning with company policies and ethical standards.

Eligibility Criteria
- Any Graduate , Science Background preferred
- Segments – Ortho , Gynec , General
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Positive organizational and multitasking abilities
