Role Description The Appraiser role at True Money Gold is a full-time, on-site position based in Erode. The appraiser will examine and evaluate gold items, including jewelry and other gold assets, using appropriate tools and methods to determine purity, weight, and market value. Day-to-day tasks include documenting assessments, explaining valuations to customers in a clear and respectful manner, and ensuring all transactions follow company policies and regulatory requirements.

The appraiser will collaborate with store staff to maintain secure handling of gold items, accurate records, and a professional,



customer-focused environment. This role also involves staying updated on current gold market prices and contributing to a trustworthy and efficient customer experience.

Qualifications

- Experience in gold or jewelry appraisal, including assessing purity, weight, and market value using standard industry tools and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate valuations clearly, handle inquiries, and build trust with diverse customers.
- Basic numerical and analytical skills to interpret market rates, calculate values, and verify transaction details.
- Integrity and adherence to ethical standards, with a focus on transparency and secure handling of customer assets.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Erode, including reliability in attendance and collaboration with store team members.
- Prior experience in a retail, pawn, jewelry, or financial services environment is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in gemology or jewelry appraisal is a plus.
