Role: Application Security Engineer

Key Skills:Application Security Engineer, AWS Security, IAM, SAST/DAST, Threat Modeling, API Security, OWASP, Burp Suite, Terraform, DevSecOps, Microservices.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual and automated secure code reviews and identify application vulnerabilities.
- Conduct threat modeling and secure architecture reviews for applications and microservices.
- Identify security risks across web applications, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
- Integrate and manage SAST, DAST and SCA tools within CI/CD pipelines.




- Work with development teams on vulnerability remediation and secure coding practices.
- Perform AWS security assessments, including IAM and least-privilege access reviews.
- Review application authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Support API security assessments and vulnerability remediation.
- Review security controls for cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Promote DevSecOps and Secure SDLC practices across engineering teams.
