Role Description The Anesthesiologist & Intensivist will provide perioperative anesthesia care, including pre-operative assessment, intraoperative management, and post-operative monitoring for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. The role includes leading and managing care in the intensive care unit, monitoring critically ill patients, initiating appropriate interventions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities also include pain management services, airway management, emergency response in critical situations, and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The Anesthesiologist & Intensivist will participate in case discussions,



clinical documentation, quality improvement activities, and may contribute to training and guidance for junior staff. This is a full-time, in office role based at Sooriya Hospital in Nungambakkam, Chennai.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Anesthesiology and Medicine, with the ability to manage diverse surgical and medical cases safely and effectively.
- Proficiency in Critical Care Nursing and intensive care practices, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions.
- Recognized medical degree (MD/DNB or equivalent) in Anesthesiology with valid Tamil Nadu Medical Council registration.
