We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Android application development for device-based or embedded platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Android applications and system-level software while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The role also involves technical leadership, software architecture, hardware-software integration, and mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Android Application Development:

•Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.

•Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Android applications following industry best practices.

•Integrate Android applications with hardware peripherals, system services, and external devices.

•Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.

•Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and system-level issues.

•Participate in application deployment, release management, and post-release support.

System Architecture & Software Development

•Design software architecture and technical solutions for Android-based systems.

•Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and implementation strategies.

•Develop reusable software components and frameworks.

•Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards.

•Maintain technical documentation, architecture documents, and design specifications.

Device Integration & Product Development

- Work closely with hardware, firmware, QA, and product teams during product development.
- Support hardware-software integration and system validation activities.
- Analyze test results and implement software improvements.




- Coordinate software changes required for hardware revisions and product enhancements.
- Participate in product verification, validation, and release activities.

Leadership & Collaboration

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Android developers.
- Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, and technical reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners when required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

Required Skills:

- 5–7 years of Android application development experience
- Robust proficiency in Java and Kotlin
- Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Android Jetpack components
- MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture
- REST APIs, JSON/XML parsing, and third-party library integration
- Android UI/UX development using Material Design principles
- Multithreading, Coroutines, and background processing
- SQLite, Room Database, Shared Preferences, and local storage
- Git and version control systems
- Unit testing and debugging tools
- Performance optimization and memory management
- Experience with Android system services and hardware integration
- Build, release, and deployment management

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,

Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience Requirements:

- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Android application development
- Experience developing applications for Android-based devices or embedded platforms
- Experience in software architecture and system design
