Summary: This role is for Mutual Fund, Hedge Fund & Private Equity Industry which includes functions like Subscription, Redemption, AML, Payment, Reporting, Capital Call, Distribution Call etc. The incumbent needs to understand the laws of the region supported and perform day-to-day work in accordance with procedure set for an activity. The role needs to work in rotational shift and there would be shifts starting at 1.30 PM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Accurately process and / or review investor information with specific reference to AML
- Independently liaise in a timely and professional manner with the Investor Servies/Dealing Team, AML Team Leads to complete the client review process
- Carry out AML reviews, reviews of Incorporation and KYC documents, financial Sanction & PEP screenings and independent research on new/onboarding and existing investors
- Review of investor accounts of varying degrees of complexity to ensure the relevant Customer Due Diligence requirements are met
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of AML regulation and best practice and uses this knowledge to promote enhancements to Waystone’s AML processes and procedures
- Maintain checklists/procedures in relation to the AML process




- Ensure all internal and external service levels and regulatory deadlines are met
- Ensure Quality targets are met
- Provide money movement notification to the client(s) and prepare wire instructions for money movement for fund investor activity
- Serve as client operational contact for AML and maintain good relationship with clients.
- Query, problem and error resolution on a timely basis
- Strictly adhere to established departmental procedures and controls
- Work on Projects / Ad-hoc tasks as required
- Demonstrate team player qualities within Investor Services
- Contact investors for whom there are outstanding AML / Tax requirements

- To assist with query handling, quality error analysis, identify root cause and help with solutions to close the gaps.
- Provide periodic reports to Manager on team performance

Education
- A Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business Or Finance Or Banking related discipline from a reputed College/University.

Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in AML or similar role.
