About the Role

Algoptions Technology Private Limited is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Algo Trading Operations Executive to manage and monitor the day-to-day operations of our algorithmic trading platform.

The role involves monitoring live market activities, trading systems, orders, positions, executions, streaming data, broker connectivity, and trading workflows. The candidate will be responsible for identifying operational issues quickly and coordinating with technical teams to ensure smooth trading operations during market hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor live trading operations and algorithmic trading systems.
- Monitor open positions, orders, executions, and trading strategies.
- Perform and verify position placement and order execution.
- Monitor square-off activities and ensure positions are closed correctly.
- Support scalping and other time-sensitive trading operations as per defined processes.
- Track rejected, pending, cancelled, partially executed, and failed orders.
- Verify that executed trades and positions are correctly reflected across systems.
- Monitor real-time market data and perform streaming verification.
- Monitor broker API connectivity, order feeds,



responses, and position updates.
- Identify discrepancies between broker systems, market data, and internal systems.
- Cross-check trading platform data with broker data.
- Investigate operational issues and escalate them to the technical/development team.
- Monitor exposure and ensure trading activities follow defined procedures.
- Maintain daily trading and operational reports.
- Document incidents and coordinate with developers and management for resolution.

Required Skills
- Good understanding of stock market and trading concepts.
- Knowledge of equity, futures, and options is preferred.
- Understanding of order placement, execution, positions, and square-off processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of APIs and technology systems.
- Ability to understand system logs, API responses, order statuses, and trading data.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to respond quickly to time-sensitive trading issues.

Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:
- Algorithmic trading operations




- Stock broker or trading desk operations
- Broker API / order management systems
- Live market monitoring
- Futures and options trading
- Position monitoring and reconciliation
- Trading platform support
- Working with multiple stock brokers

Who Can Apply? Candidates with 1–4 years of experience in trading operations, stock market operations, technical operations, or a related field are preferred.

Freshers may also be considered if they have strong knowledge of the stock market and a genuine interest in algorithmic trading and technology.

Important The candidate must be comfortable working from the office in Indore and handling time-sensitive operational activities during live stock market hours.
