JOB SUMMARY

Publicis Sapient is looking for a AI/MLEngineer to build production-quality solutions using Large Language Models, LangChain, machine learning, fine-tuning methodologies, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation. In this role, you will develop clean and maintainable Python code, apply strong testing and documentation practices, and support development and deployment using Docker, terminal-based workflows, and Git.

About the Team The Data and AI Team at Publicis Sapient develops data-driven and AI-enabled solutions. The team brings together machine learning and software engineering practices to build maintainable solutions for business requirements.

About the Role

As a Generative AI / LLM Engineer, you will:

- Build and enhance applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and the LangChain framework.
- Apply machine learning concepts and fine-tuning methodologies to improve model performance.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for context-aware solutions.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code following PEP8 standards.
- Ensure production-quality code through thorough testing and documentation.
- Use Docker, terminal-based workflows, and Git for development and deployment tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop LLM-based solutions using LangChain.
- Apply fine-tuning methodologies and machine learning concepts to relevant use cases.
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines.
- Write Python code that follows PEP8 standards.
- Maintain code quality through testing and documentation.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Perform development and deployment tasks through the terminal.
- Use Git for version control.

EXPERIENCE

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.




- 2–3 years of proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience using the LangChain framework.
- 2–3 years of experience with machine learning concepts and fine-tuning methodologies.
- 1–2 years of experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
- 2–3 years of professional coding experience in Python, following PEP8 standards.
- 1 year of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience ensuring production-quality code, including thorough testing and documentation.
- Comfortable working in the terminal for development and deployment tasks.
- 1–2 years of experience with version control systems such as Git.
