Job Overview The Design Village (TDV) is looking for an enthusiastic and student-focused Admission Counsellor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students and parents, understanding their academic and career aspirations, providing accurate information about TDV’s programmes, and guiding them throughout the admission journey.

The role will involve handling domestic and international enquiries, conducting counselling sessions, following up with prospective students, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting the admissions process from initial enquiry to enrolment.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding TDV’s undergraduate, postgraduate and other design and creative programmes.
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, interests, career goals and preferences to recommend suitable programmes.
- Handle domestic and international admission enquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, online meetings and walk-ins.
- Explain programme structure, eligibility criteria, admission process, fees, scholarships, career opportunities and other relevant information.
- Manage and follow up on admission leads to ensure timely conversion and enrolment.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective students throughout the admission cycle.
- Assist students with application forms, required documents, entrance tests, interviews and other admission requirements.
- Coordinate with academic, admissions and other internal teams to ensure a smooth application and enrolment process.
- Conduct and support campus visits, counselling sessions, information sessions, open houses,



webinars and admission events.
- Support outreach activities, school/college visits, education fairs and other student engagement initiatives.
- Stay updated on TDV programmes, design education trends, admission policies, scholarships and relevant opportunities in India and abroad.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, follow-ups and admission status in the CRM/HRMS or designated system.
- Ensure timely follow-up on pending applications, documents, fees and other admission requirements.
- Provide a positive and professional experience to students and parents throughout the admission process.
- Collaborate with the marketing and outreach teams to support admission campaigns and lead-generation activities.
- Work towards defined admission targets, lead conversion and enrolment goals.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Psychology, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in admissions, education counselling, student services, sales or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent counselling, relationship-building and follow-up skills.
- Ability to understand student aspirations and guide them towards suitable academic and career pathways.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM systems.




- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple student enquiries and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Comfortable communicating with students and parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong English communication skills; additional languages will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in design education, higher education, ed-tech, educational consultancy or admissions will be preferred.
- Experience handling international student enquiries/admissions will be an added advantage.
- Experience in student counselling, lead conversion or target-driven admission roles will be preferred.
- Candidates with an understanding of design and creative education will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
