Speakeasy helps Indians learn to speak English with confidence. Our users are from tier 2/3 India — they want to clear an interview, speak up at work, and stop feeling small when someone switches to English.
Our growth runs on paid video. Your script is the biggest lever on our install cost.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Write 15–45 sec video ad scripts for Meta and YouTube — hook, pain point, proof, demo, CTA
- Write many hooks per concept; they have to land in 3 seconds on a muted feed
- Build variants across our core angles: job interviews, workplace confidence, parents buying for kids, "I can read English but can't speak it"
- Write UGC and testimonial scripts with shot and delivery direction for creators
- Read ad-level data with the growth team — hook rate, CTR, CPI — and rewrite from it
- Maintain a hook library so winning patterns get reused
WHAT YOU MUST GET ABOUT OUR USER
- The shame around English in India is the real trigger. This is an emotional buy, not an educational one
- They think in Hindi. Ads work in Hindi or natural Hinglish, never polished English
- Budget Android, patchy data, 20 minutes after work
- Aspiration without condescension — never make the user feel stupid for not knowing English
WHAT YOU NEED
- 1–4 yrs writing video ad scripts or performance creative for consumer apps, edtech, D2C or agencies
- Strong Hindi and English, and the judgement to know which a script needs
- A portfolio of scripts that actually ran as ads
- Comfort with volume, deadlines and being edited
- Willingness to look at numbers, not just ideas
VALUABLE TO HAVE
- Edtech or Bharat-focused app experience
- Hands-on with Meta Ads Manager and creative testing
- Have briefed creators or been on shoots
WHAT WE OFFER
- Up to ₹7.5 LPA
- Your scripts in front of lakhs of users within days
- Real budget behind your creative, and data on every line you write
