Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Payable Specialist role based in Bengaluru.

The Accounts Payable

Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, matching purchase orders, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Daily tasks include reviewing expense reports for compliance, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal teams, and posting journal entries related to accounts payable in the accounting system. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date records, assisting with month-end closing activities, supporting internal and external audits, and following company policies and regulatory requirements.



The specialist collaborates closely with finance and procurement to improve processes and support overall financial accuracy and control.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and finance skills, including a solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes and Journal Entries (Accounting).
- Experience handling Expense Reports and related reimbursement procedures in a corporate or similar environment.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and supporting data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with accounting/ERP software and MS Excel; familiarity with financial controls and compliance practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Attention to detail, robust organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in manufacturing, aviation, or aerospace environments is an advantage.
