Role responsibilities

- Handle finalisation of accounts and preparation of financial statements.

- Manage accounting review, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations and year-end closing.

- Prepare, review and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and annual/related compliances.

- Handle GST reconciliations between books, returns and supporting records.

- Assist with GST notices, departmental audits, scrutiny and litigation matters.

- Draft replies to show-cause notices, submissions and other representations.

- Prepare statements of facts, grounds of appeal and supporting documentation, where required.

- Coordinate with clients, tax authorities and internal team members.

- Guide junior team members and review their work for accuracy and completeness.

- Support statutory audits, tax audits and other advisory assignments.

- Explore and use technology, automation and AI-based tools to improve accounting, tax and compliance workflows.

Who should apply





- B.Com/M.Com, CA dropout, CMA dropout or equivalent qualification.

- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in accounts finalisation, GST compliance and GST litigation.

- Strong working knowledge of Tally/ERP systems, MS Excel and GST portals.

- Ability to independently manage assignments and communicate effectively with clients.

- Candidates with experience in drafting GST replies and handling departmental proceedings will be preferred.
