Role Description The Accounts Assistant (Joining within 7 days) will be responsible for supporting daily accounting and finance operations in the Mumbai office. This full-time, on-site role includes processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, handling petty cash transactions, and assisting with bank reconciliations. The role involves monitoring receivables for effective credit control, coordinating with internal teams on billing issues, and preparing basic financial reports as required.

The Accounts

Assistant will also respond to account-related queries, maintain accurate documentation,



and ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards. The position requires robust attention to detail, timely task execution, and clear communication with colleagues and management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess accounting-related skills such as Accounting and Finance, including familiarity with basic bookkeeping and general ledger operations.
- Candidates should possess financial operations skills such as Credit Control and Petty Cash management, with the ability to track payments and maintain accurate cash records.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, external partners, and management regarding accounts and billing matters.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, with strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Relevant educational background in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in an accounting or accounts assistant role is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
