We're hiring an Accounting Specialist – AP, Treasury & General Accounting to support day-to-day accounting operations for our growing manufacturing organization. This role will own accounts payable, treasury activities, vendor management, reconciliations, and month-end accounting processes while partnering closely with finance leadership.
The ideal candidate brings experience within a manufacturing environment, strong accounting fundamentals, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting during U.S. business hours. SAP experience is highly preferred.

What You'll Own
? Accounts Payable Management
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense claims accurately and timely.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documentation.
- Ensure appropriate approvals and coding prior to payment processing.
- Execute payment runs through ACH, wire transfers, checks, and other approved payment methods.
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and supporting documentation.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues with vendors.
? Treasury Operations
- Support daily cash management and treasury activities.
- Monitor cash balances and assist with cash forecasting.
- Coordinate domestic and international wire transfers.
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate reconciling items.
- Assist with payment controls and fraud prevention procedures.
- Support relationships with banking partners and internal stakeholders.
? General Accounting
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist with fixed asset and prepaid expense accounting as required.
- Support financial reporting requests and management analysis.
? Vendor Management & Reconciliations
- Reconcile vendor statements and accounts regularly.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between vendor records and company records.
- Prepare AP aging reports and monitor outstanding liabilities.
- Assist with onboarding new vendors and collecting required documentation.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships through effective communication and issue resolution.
?️ SAP & Financial Systems
- Process accounting transactions accurately within ERP systems.
- Maintain vendor master data and accounting records.
- Utilize SAP for accounts payable, treasury, and reporting activities.
- Support system improvements, process enhancements, and internal controls.
? Compliance & Controls
- Maintain complete documentation and audit-ready records.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across accounting operations.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing organization.
- Strong experience in accounts payable, treasury, and general accounting functions.
- Business, Commerce, or Accounting graduate.
- Experience managing vendor payments, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and M365 tools.
Preferred
- SAP ERP experience.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based organizations.
- Exposure to treasury and cash management processes.
- Experience working remotely with global teams.
Work Schedule
- Remote work arrangement based in India.
- U.S. Eastern Time working hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST.
