Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Indore. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording entries in the general ledger, processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting internal and external audits.



The individual will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making and business growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance, including GST, TDS, and relevant Indian accounting standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar tools) and Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and management.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required; professional certifications (such as CA/ICWA/CPA or equivalent coursework) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, home products, or consumer goods environment is beneficial, along with familiarity with inventory and cost accounting.
