Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Thane. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. The role involves preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking project-related expenses, and supporting budgeting and cost control for architectural and interior design projects.

The Accountant will assist in preparing financial statements, coordinating with auditors, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local tax regulations.



The individual will also collaborate with project and liaison teams to provide accurate financial data, maintain organized records, and support management with periodic financial reports and analyses.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting and bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to prepare reports, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Knowledge of local taxation, compliance requirements, and basic statutory reporting relevant to skilled services firms.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and capability to maintain accurate, organized financial records.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, liaison, and management teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an architecture, design, construction, or professional services setting is beneficial.
