Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant Trainee. In this role, you will support the finance and accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, preparing financial documentation, and assisting with routine accounting and reporting activities. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop practical accounting skills and gain hands-on exposure to financial processes and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist the finance and accounting team with day-to-day accounting and financial activities.
- Support recording and maintaining financial transactions in accounting systems.
- Assist in preparing and verifying invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Help with bank, ledger, and account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Support the preparation of periodic financial statements, reports, and schedules.
- Assist in tracking receivables, payables, and routine financial transactions.




- Coordinate with internal teams to collect and verify financial data and documents.
- Support the team in statutory and tax-related accounting documentation and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

- Graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience may apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally ERP.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and develop practical accounting skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
