Job Title: Accountant (Tally & Accounting Software)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally and other accounting software to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, GST/tax compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally (or equivalent ERP/accounting software)
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances
- Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash management
- Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet)
- Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and financial records
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation
- Track invoices, payments, and follow up on outstanding dues




- Coordinate with CA/auditors for tax filings and compliance matters
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred)
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and other accounting/ERP tools
- Valuable understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred (Good to Have)

- Experience with e-invoicing and e-way bill generation
- Exposure to payroll processing
- Prior experience in Infrastructure sector (Optional)
