The candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles and preferably experience in the food, bakery, restaurant, FMCG, or retail industry . Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting &
- BookkeepingMaintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records. Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Maintain proper cash and bank books and perform regular bank reconciliation. Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents. Ensure accurate and timely accounting entries in Tally/ERP/accounting software . Track receivables, payables, advances, and outstanding balances.

Accounting &

- Cost ControlMaintain and monitor food/raw-material costing for products. Calculate and monitor food cost, recipe cost, and product-wise margins . Track consumption of key raw materials such as flour, butter, oil, sugar, dairy, vegetables, packaging materials, etc. Monitor wastage, spoilage, expiry, and stock variances and prepare reports. Reconcile physical stock with system/accounting records. Assist management in controlling food costs and identifying unnecessary expenses. Monitor changes in raw-material prices and their impact on product margins. Sales &
- Daily ReconciliationRecord and reconcile daily sales from POS, online food-delivery platforms, websites, cash, UPI, cards, and other payment modes . Reconcile online platform settlements with actual sales and commission/deduction statements. Maintain daily sales and collection reports. Identify and resolve discrepancies in sales, cash, UPI, and bank collections. Purchase &




- Vendor ManagementRecord purchase invoices and verify them against purchase orders/receiving records. Maintain vendor ledgers and reconcile vendor statements. Track outstanding vendor payments and payment schedules. Verify rates, quantities, GST details, and supporting documents on purchase invoices. Coordinate with procurement/store teams regarding purchase and stock discrepancies. GST, TDS &
- ComplianceMaintain proper records for GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements . Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns and reconciliation of purchase/sales data. Ensure proper documentation and accounting of input tax credit. Coordinate with CA/auditors for taxation, compliance, and audit requirements. Maintain all required financial and statutory records. - Management SupportPrepare daily/weekly/monthly accounting and financial reports. Provide reports on sales, expenses, food cost, inventory, wastage, vendor outstanding, and profitability . Support management with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial decision-making. Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial statements. Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Required Skills &

- QualificationsGraduate in B.Com / M.Com / Accounting or related field preferred. 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Experience in food, bakery, restaurant, FMCG, retail, or manufacturing accounting will be an advantage. Good knowledge of Tally Prime / Excel / accounting software . Working knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and basic taxation . Good understanding of inventory and purchase accounting.

Strong

Excel skills, including basic formulas, filters, sorting, and reporting. Positive analytical and reconciliation skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

CandidateA candidate who has hands-on experience in daily accounting inventory management food costing vendor reconciliation GST compliance and understands the financial operations of a food/bakery business will be preferred.
