Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements for Pavalius Homes’ projects.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.



The role will involve collaborating with project managers and leadership to provide accurate financial reports, cost analysis, and insights that support decision-making in property development and sales. The Accountant will also assist with tax preparation, audit support, and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and basic enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting for real estate or construction projects.
- Understanding of local taxation rules, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project teams and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; qualified certifications (e.g., CA/CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in real estate, construction, or property development accounting is highly beneficial.
