Role Description The Accountant will work full time on-site at the Meerut location, handling day-to-day financial and accounting operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate books of accounts, posting journal entries, managing ledgers, and reconciling bank statements and vendor accounts. The role involves preparing invoices, processing payments and receipts, managing petty cash, and supporting payroll calculations and statutory deductions. The Accountant will assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.

The role also includes generating regular financial reports, identifying discrepancies, recommending corrective actions,



and collaborating with operations and management to support budgeting and cost control.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including ledger management, journal entry posting, and bank and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with financial reporting and compliance, including preparation of financial statements, support for audits, and understanding of tax and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools, such as Tally or similar ERP/accounting systems, along with solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to identify variances, improve financial controls, and support budgeting and cost optimization.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with management, vendors, and internal teams in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA in progress or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or packaging company environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
