Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. This full-time role involves preparing financial statements, tracking expenses, managing invoicing, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls while maintaining accurate and organized financial records.





The role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making, as well as assisting with audits and periodic financial reviews. This is an on-site position based in New Delhi.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ability to prepare financial statements, support budgeting, and perform variance analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other relevant tax regulations.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or startups is beneficial, particularly in high-growth environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Recent Delhi and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
