Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements for the company’s healthcare activities.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll processing, and supporting month-end and year-end closings. The role also involves preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. This is a full-time,



in office role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, requiring regular collaboration with finance and operations staff.

The Accountant is expected to maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity in all financial processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and basic taxation and compliance requirements relevant to the Indian healthcare sector.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industries is beneficial.
