QuickBooks Online & Xero Bookkeeper – UK Clients

About the Role

DL Training Bookkeeping Services is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support bookkeeping work for Fynax UK-based small businesses.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Xero and understand standard UK bookkeeping practices.

Responsibilities

Manage bookkeeping for small business clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero

Categorize and review business transactions

VAT/Tax – Prepare VAT workings, VAT reports and support VAT filing

Journal Entries – Post accruals, prepayments, adjustments, and other journal entries.

Payroll - PAYE & NIC

Financial Reports – Assist in preparing Trial Balance, P&L;, Balance Sheet, and other reports.

Perform bank and credit-card reconciliations

Maintain accurate books and records

Prepare monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports

Identify and resolve bookkeeping discrepancies

Assist with month-end bookkeeping and closing

Communicate clearly regarding missing or incorrect financial information





Maintain confidentiality of client financial information

Requirements

1-3 years Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Xero

Previous bookkeeping experience preferred

Knowledge of bank and credit-card reconciliation

Understanding of P&L; and Balance Sheet

Robust attention to detail

Good written English communication

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Experience with UK-based businesses is a plus
