About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally ERP and MS Excel, capable of handling end-to-end accounting operations including finalization of accounts, statutory audits, and GST compliance.
Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping • Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in Tally ERP (Prime / ERP 9).
- Maintain ledgers, journal entries, and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Finalization of Accounts • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Ensure books are closed accurately and on time in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Coordinate with senior management for review and sign-off of finalized accounts.
Audit
Support • Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary information in a timely manner.
- Identify and address audit observations; implement corrective action plans. GST Compliance • Prepare and file GST returns accurately — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual GSTR-9/9C.
- Reconcile GST liability as per books vs. GSTN portal on a monthly basis.
- Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims and ensure timely reversals where applicable.
- Stay updated on GST amendments and ensure business compliance accordingly.
Educational
Qualifications • B.Com / M.Com (mandatory).
- CA Inter / CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
