About the Role

Pspeaches is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to manage the companys day-to-day accounting, e-commerce reconciliations, taxation, inventory accounting and financial MIS.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in e-commerce accounting, particularly with marketplaces such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Ajio and D2C platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-commerce Accounting & Reconciliation

* Daily/weekly reconciliation of marketplace sales, orders, cancellations, returns and RTOs.
- Reconcile marketplace statements with books of accounts and bank receipts.
- Track marketplace deductions, commissions, logistics charges, penalties and other adjustments.
- Reconcile settlement reports and identify short payments or discrepancies.
- Maintain separate reconciliation for each marketplace/channel.
- Coordinate with marketplace teams for recovery of incorrect deductions.

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable

* Manage vendor invoices, purchase entries and payment schedules.
- Verify purchase invoices against POs/GRNs.
- Track marketplace receivables and outstanding payments.
- Vendor ledger reconciliation and confirmation.
- Ensure timely booking of expenses and provisions.

1. GST & Taxation

* Ensure accurate GST accounting and reconciliation.
- Reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and purchase/input tax credit.
- Handle TDS/TCS accounting and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with external CA/tax consultants for GST, TDS and income-tax compliance.
- Ensure timely filing and payment of statutory dues.

1. Inventory Accounting

* Reconcile physical inventory with ERP/books and marketplace inventory.
- Track stock transfers between warehouse, 3PL and marketplaces.
- Account for stock adjustments, damages, shortages and write-offs.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams on inventory discrepancies.

1. MIS & Management Reporting

Prepare monthly MIS covering:




- Channel-wise sales
- Gross margin and contribution margin
- Marketplace commissions and charges
- Returns/RTO
- Advertising and marketing expenses
- Inventory
- Receivables/payables
- Cash flow
- Profit & Loss
- Budget vs actuals

1. Month-End Closing

* Monthly ledger scrutiny and reconciliation.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Accruals and provisions.
- Debtor/creditor reconciliation.
- Inventory valuation.
- Assist in monthly P&L; closure.

1. Audit & Compliance

* Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors.
- Maintain proper supporting documentation.
- Ensure books are audit-ready.
- Assist in annual finalisation of accounts.

Candidate Profile

Must Have

- 4–7 years of accounting experience.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce accounting.
- Experience with marketplace reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS and accounting principles.
- Robust Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and reconciliation.
- Experience with accounting/ERP software such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP or similar.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting.
- Ability to independently identify accounting/reconciliation discrepancies.

Preferred

- Experience in apparel/fashion e-commerce.
- Experience handling Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Ajio and D2C sales.
- Experience with Razorpay/Shiprocket/3PL or similar systems.
- Experience working with high-volume SKU businesses.
