The Plant Accounts Manager is responsible for leading the finance and accounting function at the plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, budgeting, inventory accounting, and effective financial support to plant operations, role works closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial discipline, operational efficiency, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee all plant accounting operations, including month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, Trial Balance, ledger scrutiny, and MIS reports.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax audit, and regulatory requirements applicable to the plant.

- Lead internal, statutory, tax, and cost audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.

- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and profitability reports.

- Oversee inventory accounting, including raw materials, packing materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods,



ensuring accurate inventory valuation and control.

- Monitor and account for CAPEX and OPEX, ensuring proper allocation, capitalization, and compliance with company policies.

- Review and reconcile supplier, customer, transporter, freight payable, and inventory-related accounts on a periodic basis.

- Prepare monthly brand-wise costing and EDP calculations based on production data.

- Analyze manufacturing costs and recommend initiatives for cost optimization and improved operational efficiency.

- Negotiate commercial terms with vendors and support the finalization of agreements, purchase orders, and service contracts in coordination with procurement.

- Collaborate with production, procurement, stores, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure effective financial controls and business support.

- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and compliance with company policies. Role & responsibilities
