The Accounts & Finance operations for our international group companies are managed from our India-based office in Rajkot, Gujarat, providing team members with practical exposure to UK Accounting, VAT, European business operations, and international financial processes.

About the Role

Top Notch Tiles is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and dedicated Accounts Executive to join our Accounts & Finance team in Rajkot.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, AP/AR, payroll, and accounting software, along with a good understanding of UK Accounting and VAT.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with UK accounting processes and international business operations while contributing to the financial management of a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, payment records, and supporting documents.
- Assist with UK Accounting and VAT-related activities.
- Support preparation and review of VAT-related records and reports.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up when required.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and MIS reports as required.




- Maintain proper documentation and ensure accounting records are accurate and organized.
- Work with QuickBooks / Zoho Books for accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Use MS Excel for reporting, reconciliation, data analysis, and financial calculations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding accounting-related matters.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Practical knowledge of QuickBooks or Zoho Books.
- Knowledge of UK Accounting and VAT is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Experience in AP, AR, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Knowledge of payroll processing.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an international business environment will be an advantage.
