Role Description The Academic Counselor at Campus Updates will provide one-on-one and group counseling to students on college selection, entrance exam strategies, and academic pathways. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing student interests and strengths, and creating personalized education and career plans. The role involves collaborating with mentors and faculty partners, maintaining accurate student records, and participating in webinars, workshops, and events to support student engagement.

The Academic

Counselor will also respond to student inquiries, share timely information about admissions and exams,



and contribute to the continuous improvement of counseling resources and processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to guide learners through educational and program choices.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to conduct clear, empathetic, and professional interactions with students and families.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students explore career paths, understand job markets, and plan long-term goals.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Education to understand academic curricula, admission processes, and institutional requirements.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in higher education or career guidance, proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems, and strong organizational and documentation skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in academic or career counseling are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, uphold non-discriminatory practices, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
