Role Description The Academic Counsellor will engage with prospective and enrolled learners to guide them in selecting suitable programs, certifications, and learning paths aligned with their academic background and career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, providing academic advising, explaining course structures and outcomes, and supporting learners through admissions and onboarding processes.



The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, collaborating with training and placement teams, and participating in outreach activities, events, and seminars to promote Technovalley’s programs.

Academic

Counsellors will address learner queries, track progress, and provide guidance on skill development and career opportunities in emerging technologies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Aluva.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide Student Counseling and Academic Advising to diverse learners across technology programs.
- Strong Communication skills to explain program details, guide decision-making, and build trust with students and guardians.
- Experience or interest in Career Counselling, helping learners align academic choices with future job roles and industry trends.
- Educational background in Bachelor's in Computer Applications, or a related field, with an understanding of academic frameworks and training models.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or student management systems, with strong organizing and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic, operations, and placement teams in a fast-paced, target-driven workplace.
- Fluency in English and local languages, with a professional and empathetic counseling approach.
